What I'm Watching

Watching food shows or reading food websites makes me feel like that hour and a half in front of the television or computer wasn't a waste of my time, because I learned something useful - restaurants to check out or some new recipes to try.

So, here's some more food shows to check out:
- Chopped
- Giada at Home
- Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives
- Dinner Impossible
- The Best Thing I Ever Ate
- Tyler's Ultimate

And here's a few of the food websites I've got bookmarked:
- Epicurious: http://www.epicurious.com/
Epicurious is a Conde Nast website that aggregates recipes from many publications including Gourmet, Bon Appetit, Parade, Self, Random House and more. It allows you to search by ingredient, course, and a variety of other options if you are looking for something in particular.
- Food Network: http://www.foodnetwork.com/
Looking for that recipe you saw on TV yesterday? Instead of trying to write the recipe down while I'm watching a cooking show, I usually just look it up afterwards.
- Tastebook: http://www.tastebook.com/
This site allows you to create recipe collections and design your own cookbooks. They have aggregated recipes from most of the major cooking magazines (Food and Wine, Sunset, Better Homes and Gardens) as well as Food Network, Epicurious and well known cookign websites.
