Pinot Noir Peppercorn Sauce



Ingredients:
1/3 cup pinot noir
2 garlic cloves
6 tbsp butter
2 tbsp green peppercorns
7 mushrooms

Steps:
1. Slice mushrooms.
2. Finely dice garlic cloves.
3. Combine pinot noir, peppercorns, garlic and mushrooms in a saucepan. Let reduce on medium high heat.
4. When majority of wine has been absorbed or thickened, reduce heat to low.
5. Add butter, stirring until thoroughly mixed.

Serves 3-4

This sauce works well served over steak, pork, or vegetables.

  2. I used white button mushrooms, although I think other varieties could work well also.
